I’m April Olson- a tech founder and learning experience strategist. I am passionate about helping individuals and teams unlock their full potential.
My career began in education and development, where I studied how kids and adults grow, retain knowledge, and build confidence. That foundation led me to launch nonprofit programs, coach leaders, and ultimately co-found Ollivate (pronounced OH LA VATE), an education technology company transforming how healthcare professionals prepare for board exams and earn continuing education.
As a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, I bring a strengths-based lens to everything I build- from startups to volunteer teams to boardrooms. I believe the most powerful organizations are designed around how people are wired, not forced into models that drain them.

For organizations seeking strengths-based leadership training, CliftonStrengths team workshops, or women-in-tech founder perspectives, I offer trainings that are interactive, practical, and grounded in learning science. Designed either in-person or virtually for teams of 5 to 50, these sessions focus on clarity, communication, and sustainable performance- without sacrificing humanity.

With nearly 10,000 users on the Ollivate app, our team is working to put effective, research-backed learning methods in the palms of healthcare providers.
Backed by $1.3M in early-stage funding, we are scaling Ollivate on a national stage, modernizing board preparation and continuing education.
